The girl at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Super sweet, she provided stickers for our passports and highlighted the map for the sights we wanted to see. The park is free to visit, but remember you HAVE to have a parking pass which is $10 a day or you'll get a $20 ticket. The trail down to the waterfall is a bit steep, and can be slippery when wet, so wear appropriate shoes! We came in July, but came at 830 when the visitor center opened, and it began to get too hot towards the end of our hike! We did the dripping springs trail to the falls and back around to the spillway, then did the bear trail back to the parking area. They were short trails, but the bear trail is difficult if done during the hottest part of the day, and is a rather rocky hike up to the top. There wasn't much water in the waterfall even though it rained the night before, but was still a beautiful hike down to it!

We stayed here one night during our annual road trip. We decided to stay in one of the yurts because it was the first time we've seen something like that. Totally worth it! The boys loved that there were 2 bunk beds so they each got to sleep on top bunk. The a/c, microwave, and mini fridge definitely made for a nice glamping trip. It was fun that they gave us a golf cart type vehicle to drive out to the yurts because they don't allow regular vehicles. The trails were nice and didn't seem like there were any that were excessively long, however the trails need to be marked better along the way. We went to go hiking on one trail and ended up on a completely different trail, even with checking the map. The comfort center was very well kept up; clean showers which I appreciate because I am not as much of a camper as my husband and sons.

Beautiful state park and the staff in visitor center is kind and helpful. You have to pay 10 dollars parking fee and you can see this wonderful state park. Gift center is amazing.

Natural Falls State Park was a huge hit for our family. My boys (ages 8 & 6) loved the hiking trails and they weren’t too difficult for us to navigate. The waterfall is breathtaking and only a short hike from the parking lot. There are some paved paths that lead to a view of the waterfall, but most of the trails are rock. I do recommend you have some good hiking shoes to help navigate if you plan to walk down the trails. It’s a short drive from Northwest Arkansas or even the surrounding Tulsa area. I highly recommend you put Natural Falls State Park on your list to visit and enjoy some family time outdoors.

It is a nice place with picnic benches and hikes. The water fall is an added bonus. The visitor centre has a gift shop, restrooms, and icecream!
